How to pay your residence charges

At St Chad’s College we are conscious of the varying demands placed upon students and their
family’s ability to pay for their time at University. As St Chad’s is independent from the
University, residence charges are payable directly to the College (not to the University).
We will send an invoice via e-mail at the start of each academic year.

Payments are then due in 3 equal instalments at the start of November, 31 January and the 30 April. If you require an alternative payments plan then please contact chads.finance@durham.ac.uk.
Payment can be made by bank transfer from your UK bank account into that of the College to
match the invoiced amount. The College Bank Account details are available by emailing chads.finance@durham.ac.uk.

We ask you to use your surname and Student ID Number to provide a reference so that we
can match your payment with your invoice.

We do not accept credit or debit card payments for the residence charges.

We are a cashless college and do not take cash payments for residence charges.
