We have several beautiful spaces here at St Chad’s.

The Moulsdale Hall

With a dining capacity of 120 and looking out onto Durham Cathedral through the beautiful large arched windows, the space is perfect for wedding receptions, conference dinners and most catering services.    Double doors connect the hall to the beautiful glass roofed Cassidy Quad.

The Cassidy Quad

With a capacity  of 140 and a well stocked bar the Cassidy Quad is perfect for your celebration.  It’s stunning glass roof and doors leading to the beautiful gardens bring the outside in.

This space can also cater for up to 100 delegates as a unique conference space.

The Williams Library

Perfect for presentations this space, which looks out onto Durham Cathedral,  can accommodate 40 delegates theatre style and 20 boardroom style.  The Williams has AV equipment in the form of TV with PC and sound. Connectors for laptops/USB stick.  

The Brewis Library

With lovely garden and Chapel views the Brewis has AV equipment in the form of TV with PC and sound, and can accommodate 30 delegates theatre style and 15 boardroom.

The Bettenson Library

Ideal for a small meeting and looking directly out onto Durham Cathedral, this space can comfortably accommodate 12 people around a boardroom table and 15 theatre style.

The Senior Common Room

Looking out onto our lovely Chapel and gardens this beautiful informal room with its red leather sofas is perfect for small meetings, as well as private dining for up to 20 dinner guests and small drinks receptions.

The Ann Loades Room (Ramsey House)

Looking out onto college gardens the Horsfall is set out boardroom style for 20 delegates.  It may also be used for music practice as it has an upright piano.

The Chapel

Situated in the beautiful college garden’s the Chapel is ideal for presentations, music rehearsals, choir and organ practice and services.
