Durham is a beautiful, busy, compact provincial city – full of history and famous for its Norman Cathedral and Castle, designated a World Heritage Site. To the front, St Chad’s College is situated in the shadow of the Cathedral’s east end, and to the rear it overlooks the River Wear. Our central location makes St Chad’s the ideal base for exploring the city and surrounding countryside. Other attractions easily reached by car include The Bowes Museum, Hadrian’s Wall, North Yorkshire and Northumbria including Bamburgh, Alnwick and Lindisfarne Castles, as well as the Holy Island of Lindisfarne itself.
Make St Chad’s College your base….
At St Chad’s we pride ourselves on our friendly, welcoming and attentive service.
