Your Support, Chad’s Future

St Chad’s has always been more than just a place to study. It’s a community, built on hospitality, belonging, independance, inclusivity and generosity. While we receive some funding from Durham University (about 15% of our income), we rely on student fees, commercial activity, and, most importantly, the philanthropy of our alumni and friends to sustain and enhance the Chad’s experience.

Since 2014, our supporters have contributed ober £3.7 million, thank you! But to continue to offer financial support, and life-changing opportunites, and beautiful facilities we need your help. With universities facing increasing financial pressures, St Chad’s must invest in its future. While we reamin committed to providing scholarships and bursaries, our focus now is on improving College buildings and facilities to ensure that every student, regardless of background, thrives here.

Founded on faith and philanthropy in 1904, St Chad’s has always championed access to education and positive social impact. Those values of beauty, belonging and becoming remain at our core today. Your suport ensures that future generations of Chadsians will continue to benefit from the transformative education and community that make Chad’s a truly special place.

Will you you be a part of the future of Chad’s?

Giving your experience and expertise
